Ever since I was a young girl, I have loved ice skating. I remember my parents taking me to see Dorothy Hamill and sitting in the back seat on the way home showing my program to all of the drivers along the freeway just to let everyone know that I was there. I guess you could say I was ahead of my time in sharing with the world what I was doing and where I have been.

Once I had my daughter in early 1994, I was thrilled that I was able to share the love of ice skating and Disney through Disney on Ice with her. I remember taking her to see Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast. In January, my daughter will be 25 years old and she is still sharing her love of Disney as a cast member at Disneyland.

I think it is wonderful that young families today can still share the same traditions that my daughter and I treasure from years ago. This holiday season Disney on Ice is presenting Moana in her first ice show debut in a brand new show Dare to Dream with some of your favorite Disney characters.
